Jeffrey O’Rourke, Chief Executive

Jeffrey began his career in publishing and television in San Francisco. In 1999, he joined London-based icollector, where he developed interactive online content. Jeffrey left in 2000 to found eSubstance, an online-offline content publishing company, which then acquired Michael Keating and Simon Leslie’s already successful Ink in 2004.

Simon began his career in insurance and finance. In 1994, he and Michael Keating founded Ink to service two small airlines – one in the Middle East and the other in Africa. In the past 16 years the company has grown, and today Simon is responsible for analysing the commercial viability of each project and executing the sales strategy.

Michael began his career in radio and television, working for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and MTV. He went on to found Pacific, an independent television production company. Michael co-founded Ink with Simon in 1994. He is responsible for overseeing all editorial and design aspects of the business, creating new products and services, helping win new business and managing clients.

Hugh Godsal Hugh Godsal, Chief Operating Officer

Hugh began his career at Andersen, where he qualified as a chartered accountant. He spent five years in corporate insolvency, followed by six years in corporate finance. Hugh became a partner at the age of 33. In 2000, he left Andersen to found eSubstance with Jeffrey. Hugh is responsible for managing Ink’s finances as well as the company’s legal, IT and personnel requirements across the group’s offices worldwide. He is also involved in all new business opportunities.
