The role: Sales Development Manager
The role of the Sales Development Manager is to design and deliver all sales development initiatives and ongoing coaching within the Singapore office.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that an overall sales training process is followed. This includes induction of all sales staff, regular structured training and development programmes, side by side coaching and dual calling, and reactive one to one and group development sessions.

Responsibilities:
– Design, deliver and review of all sales development initiatives, including product knowledge, sales process and technique, negotiation and objection handling, presentation skills and closing.
– Management of the new starter foundation programme so all new sales staff receive a thorough induction to Ink Singapore.
– Align product training to the PCMC sales process and ensure it is used daily in our sales culture.
– Design of all in house course material.
– To ensure we apply all the latest thinking in terms of performance management and that we are seen as ABOVE VALUE in the market place and are the preferred employer in Singapore.
– Investigate and apply the best sales, motivational, cultural and leadership principles.
– To conduct training and coaching in the Singapore office using a variety of methods including classroom, live coaching, audio and visual and accelerated learning techniques.
– Hit all performance criteria within the role.
– Act as a consultant to the leadership team advising on learning, coaching and tactics to drive each sales staff to achieve their performance potential.
– Working with the MD to communicate and manage the people strategy and business culture through cultural prompts, language and behaviour.
– Take responsibility for the planning and management of the recruitment process.

- To work with the Commercial Leadership team to ensure that training and development is in line with the commercial strategy, with individual appraisals and in line with a succession strategy

Requirements:

– At least 3-5 years experience in advertising sales/marketing and sales management.
– Experience in training and coaching in a commercial environment, ideally with accreditation in a training and sales background.
