The role: Editorial Intern, Metropolitan magazine
Metropolitan magazine, the monthly publication for Eurostar, is looking for an ambitious, French-speaking intern to join their editorial team for a four-week placement in April.
Responsibilities
– Input into story ideas
– Researching features
– Writing short articles
– Editing copy/fact checking
– Sourcing writers and PR contacts
– Calling in hi-res images
- Office admin
Requirements
The right candidate will be a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, strong writing skills, insatiable curiosity and the ability to think strategically and work well under pressure. Editorial experience is preferred, but above
all you need to have a passion for magazines, writing and travel. An intermediate to fluent knowledge of French is an advantage.
This is a full-time, unpaid position, however a lunch allowance of up to £5 a day will be paid for, as well as your travel expenses within London.
