<p>We are looking for someone with a strong portfolio and some good previous magazine publishing experience. And someone who enjoys working on creative advertising &#8211; and can build good relationships with clients, sales colleagues and magazine editorial teams.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br />
  &#8211; Designing and project managing magazine promotions through to print<br />
  &#8211; Supporting the advertising sales team to pitch for business<br />
  &#8211; Be pro-active in thinking of creative ideas that may generate new business<br />
- Be a team player and share the responsibility to ensure that all booked jobs are on target for client approval and meeting the print deadlines.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>[New York/London/Singapore, 9 May 2012] Today, CNN has named 6 publications published by Ink, the world’s leading inflight media house, in its “Top 12 Best Airline Magazines” list.  Recognising the great work produced by Ink offices all round the world, CNN has named publications from its offices in Atlanta, New York, London and Singapore.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">Shanghai 23 April, 2012 – Today, China Travel Retail (CTR), the conference and exhibition for travel retail brands, concessionaires and retailers targeting Chinese travellers both inside China and overseas, announced that 12 more airports in the People’s Republic of China are planning to send delegations to the inaugural China Travel Retail event, which will take place this year at the Marriott City Centre Shanghai on the 24th and 25<sup>th</sup> of July.</p>
<p><strong>Chongqing Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Hangzhou Airport, Hong Kong International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Ningbo Airport, Pudong Airport, Shenzhen Airport, Sichuan Chengdu Airport, Xian Airport, Xinjin Airport, Yunnan Kunming Airport </strong>and<strong> Zhuhai Airport</strong> plan to attend the event.</p>
<p>The event will be in part hosted by Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, where coaches will take delegates for an exclusive tour of their new state-of-the-art terminal.</p>
<p>CTR is being launched with the leading events company in China, GIS Events. The event will highlight and feature the importance of the fast-emerging regional airports in the People’s Republic of China. The Moodie Report’s Founder &amp; Chairman, Martin Moodie, will moderate the event, together with his Deputy Publisher, Dermot Davitt.</p>
<p>“The overwhelming importance of China to the global travel retail market is self-evident”, said Jeffrey O’Rourke, Chief Executive of Ink. “Over the last ten years, the number of passengers served by the top 100 PRC airports alone has surged from 148 million in 2001 to over 613 million in 2011. In ten years, the annual number of passengers going through Chinese airports has grown to nearly ten times the population of France, and 100 million more than the population of the entire European Union. In fact, in the last 12 months alone the top 100 PRC airports added as many new passengers as were handled in the whole year by Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. (CAAC)”</p>
<p>“The travel retail industry urgently needs to address this market with a conference that brings in the players in the Chinese market. Sales at regional airports and domestic terminals are already taking off, and understanding and addressing the Chinese market is already the difference between success and failure for many airports and travel retail concessionaires both inside and outside China.”</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>[Shanghai and London] </strong>Ink, the leading media company connecting companies with travellers, and GIS Events, a leading events organiser in the Chinese travel industry, are combining forces to launch &#8220;China Travel Retail 2012&#8243;, which will take place in Shanghai on the 24th and 25th July 2012.</p>
<p>The two day China Travel Retail event (CTR) will bring together decision makers from airports, airlines, seaports, cruise/ferry companies, and travel retail brands, all seeking to understand and market to the rapidly growing Chinese travel retail market.</p>
<p>The conference and exhibition will take place at a prestigious venue in Shanghai, and will showcase best practices both domestically inside China at Chinese airports, on Chinese airlines and at sea, as well as how companies are successfully selling to Chinese consumers travelling overseas.</p>
<p>China Travel Retail 2012 will also be covered by a special bilingual English and Chinese language edition of <em>The</em><em> Moodie Report</em>, which will be distributed at the event.</p>

<p>LONDON 17<sup>th</sup> April, 2012 &#8211; Today Ink, the world leader in media that connects with travellers, has announced that it will be dramatically changing the way it incentivises its global sales teams.<em> </em> Through its new ‘Iceberg Thinking’ approach, which tackles behavioural issues below the surface, Ink will guarantee<em> </em>its sales teams and leaders’ commissions based on behavioural KPIs and not the traditional revenue and sales targets.</p>
<p>This revolutionary new approach will address the behaviours that lie beneath each media sale and not just reward the end result. Ink’s new structure will remove the risk for sales people as long as they focus on, perform and deliver the correct behaviours which will be the basis for delivering strong performance results. This is a win-win situation. As before, the teams will be remunerated on the sales they make, but only if they have sold it properly.  Additionally, if the teams fulfil the sales process, Ink will <em>guarantee</em> to remunerate them even if those commitments do not lead to business or sales.</p>
<p>“This is a complete departure from the industry’s traditional commission based sales structure and it has the potential to revolutionise the way media sales are managed and rewarded in the future,” said Simon Leslie, Head of Publishing at Ink. “We firmly believe in our culture and supporting our people to perform to the very best levels that they can.  The new emphasis will be on delivering exceptional customer service across the globe and ensuring our sales teams focus on helping our advertising customers to grow their businesses.”</p>
<p>The sales teams will receive guaranteed commission based on each of them delivering an agreed minimum daily commitment that will reflect the number of quality calls made to a decision maker. They will also be tasked with delivering a value sales proposition rather than a commodity sales approach.  To emphasise the change in KPIs for commission, <em>Ink</em> is also scrapping its traditional 12-monthly targets in favour of 26-fortnightly targets.  This is based on “Millionsecondthinking”. A million seconds runs from Monday morning to the following week Friday afternoon and in future all <em>Ink</em> sales tasks will be linked to this timeframe.</p>
<p>Gerry Ricketts, Managing Director of Ink Singapore explains; “We have found, through our experience, that in business the task expands to fill the time we have allocated to achieve it. By changing the way we manage our time, we will raise the bar in our people’s performances and the level of customer service we deliver.  We have installed huge million second clocks in each of our offices to remind our teams that time is precious and good time management is needed to succeed.”</p>
