[London] Ink has been listed as one of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 League Table that appeared 7 December 2008.

The annual list ranks Britain’s fastest-growing private companies by their annual percentage increase in turnover over the past three years. Ink came in at 88th in the 2008 rankings, achieving 57% year on year growth from July 2005 to June 2008. .

Jeffrey O’Rourke, Chief Executive of Ink, stated: “We are thrilled to have made The Sunday Times Fast Track list for a second time. We have spent the last three years expanding our international operations, and now publish magazines in 17 languages in 22 countries, while selling advertising in over 120 countries. In fact, though our London office has also grown dramatically during this period, we will very soon have more people working in our four overseas offices than in our London headquarters. Our global success is a testament to the hard work of all of our employees around the world.”

“I am particularly pleased to have come in at exactly 88th in the rankings this year, which I am told by our Hong Kong staff is a very lucky number. We remain 100% focused on creating magazines that deliver real value to our airline clients, advertisers and readers, and feel fortunate to be delivering superior publications and profitably maintaining our rate of growth in these challenging market conditions.

In 2006, Ink came in at 41st place in The Sunday Times Fast Track rankings, having achieved 92% year on year growth over the previous three years.

Ink Publishing’s citation in The Sunday Times read:

“Passengers on airlines from Easyjet to Gulf Air read the in-flight magazines published by this company, which says it publishes a growing portfolio of 32 magazines in 17 languages for 29 airlines. Founded in 1994, directors Jeffrey O’Rourke, Hugh Godsal, Simon Leslie and Michael Keating operate a global enterprise out of offices in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, New York and Atlanta. New contracts with Ryanair, Jet Star, Air Macau and China Airlines have helped drive sales up 57% a year from £6.5m in 2005 to £25.2m in 2008.” (“Reproduced by permission.
