The Job

Ink is the world’s leading producer of inflight magazines with over 25 titles in our portfolio. Our media channels reach half a billion passengers per year travelling to hundreds of destinations around the world. Our sales executives sell advertising space in our inflight magazines to businesses who benefit from attracting a large travelling audience. Most of our inflight magazines are published monthly, though some are bi-monthly or quarterly.


You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a primary emphasis on the generation of new business along with account management of your clients. Successful sales executives need to be aware of changes in the market that impact their target audience. You will be dealing with buyers, directors and key decision makers - negotiating terms of contracts and closing deals with them on a daily basis. In addition you will also be:

  • Sourcing new leads on a daily basis and cold calling potential clients
  • Defining client needs, handling objections and negotiating
  • Building long term relationships with your clients businesses
  • Minimum of 10 effective calls every day
  • Some travel may be required

Responsibilities include:

Assisting the Production Manager with:

  • running the logistics for the video projects (crews and APs),
  • organising work flows and schedules
  • coordinating paperwork (i.e.: freelance contracts, filming permits, releases)

The Role

To assist the business as a middleweight designer, producing stunning magazine advertorials and creative advertising solutions for a growing portfolio of magazine titles. Reporting to the Creative Solutions Art Director, the role also encompasses other creative and design duties within the department.


At Ink, we produce award-winning travel magazines with a difference, so it’s vital that the candidate be confident and fast with an impeccable attention to detail. They must be organised; willing to work as part of a small team; and ready to bring fresh ideas.


  • Design advertorials to magazine house style. Liaise with Repro and production teams to obtain monthly print schedules and communicating schedules with the creative solutions team.
  • Liaise with sales teams, project manager and editorial teams to produce award-winning advertorials for an ever increasing portfolio of titles.
  • Think creatively to deliver intriguing and innovative design solutions.
  • Liaise with sales and commercial teams and obtain briefs for creative concepts to be pitched to potential advertisers for display ad campaigns, high impact units and advertorials for a variety of media channels.
  • Research brands and brainstorm creative concepts with the team.
  • Art-work concepts and produce print and email-able mock ups of creative concepts for new advertisers.
  • Assist other members of the team on developing creative mock ups and offer feedback.
  • Assist sales teams & produce advertorial mock ups to be pitched to advertisers.


Adobe Creative Suite understanding is essential, as well as excellent time management.

  • Creating an original story list and managing the production workflow

The role
- Work with the creative vision of the magazine; commission photo shoots, source images.

We are looking for a highly motivated bilingual editor (French native/English) to launch and continue to edit a new bi-monthly magazine for a French airline, part of the Air France-KLM group. The ideal candidate will be a talented journalist with a passion for creating original, attention-grabbing travel content and with a minimum of three years’ experience successfully managing the production of a B2C print title. Liaising with the client to ensure the magazine is on brand is essential, an interest in travel, culture and lifestyle beneficial. We are looking for a French editor who can work autonomously, with a can-do approach to producing topical, fun and trend-based content. The French editor will report to and be managed by the Editorial Director.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the magazine production to be on time and within budget each issue
  •  Account manage and liaise with the airline to help achieve their marketing goals
  • Develop an editorial strategy and forward planning to support the commercial team in hitting their targets
  • Collaborate with the designer to create a fun, original magazine concept/layout
