This year’s BT Awards round-up

That’s a wrap – the ultimate who’s who of travel has been announced

For more than 40 years, The Business Traveller Awards has set the benchmark for excellence in travel and hospitality, celebrating the very best brands and services across the globe.

How it went

This year we raised the bar even higher with the introduction of new Global categories. Plus, a revised voting approach meant readers could vote in regional awards, as well as Best in the World categories.

For these new categories, our distinguished judging panel drew on centuries of expertise in hospitality, aviation, design and luxury travel, to evaluate public votes and ensure only the most outstanding contenders were honoured in each category, including exceptional airlines, iconic hotel brands, premium lounges, train operators and top-tier airports.

The ultimate accolade

Two new categories were also celebrated this year – Best Hotel Sustainability Initiative and Best Airline Sustainability Initiative. As always, our survey was vetted by an independent market research company to ensure all winners truly reflected the views and experiences of our readers.

Thanks to all of the brands who attended, our expert judges and all of our voters for continuing the BT Awards’ legacy.
